Harout Barsemian, D.D.S., M.S.
Dr. Barsemian attended the University of Montreal for his dental degree where he was on the dean's list every semester. He was awarded the American Association of Endodontists annual student award . He obtained his Endodontic training at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. He was listed in "America's Top Dentist" by consumer research council Of America -2003 through 2017. He was also voted as one of new Jersey's top dentists seven consecutive years (2009-2017) by his peers in a survey conducted by New Jersey Monthly magazine.
Dr. Barsemian has been providing Endodontic care since 2001. He was formerly a partner in a multi-office practice located in south Jersey.
He has been trained in the newest technology such as the use of rotary instrumentation with obturation using the system B and the obtura. He also uses the surgical operating microscope routinely for Endodontics as well as microsurgery. He believes most root canals can be completed in one visit.
He has lectured on Endodontics and microsurgery and was a part time instructor at the University of Pennsylvania in the department of Endodontics. Presently Dr Barsemian is on the teaching staff of Morristown Medical Center's Dental clinic.
Dr. Barsemian is a member of the American Dental Association, the New Jersey dental Association, Union County Dental Society, Central Jersey Dental society, The American Association of Endodontists and Tri County Dental Society where he served as president 2010-11. He is the director of Apex Seminars, a study club for dentists and dental specialists.
Dr. Barsemian will provide the Highest Endodontic care possible in a friendly and comforting environment.
Joseph Rinaggio, D.D.S., M.S.
Dr. Rinaggio received his D.D.S. degree at the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine in 1995, having earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Zoology at Miami University, Oxford, Ohio in 1991. Upon completion of dental school, he entered a residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology at SUNY at Buffalo, earning a Certificate of Proficiency in 1998. He completed a Fellowship in Head and Neck Pathology at The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio in 1999. Dr. Rinaggio joined the Department of Pathology at UTHSCSA as a Clinical Instructor, and was a member of the Surgical Pathology staff at the Audie L. Murphy Veterans Administration Hospital, San Antonio, Texas. He earned a Master of Science degree from SUNY at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine in 2000. Dr. Rinaggio is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology, and a Fellow of the American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology.
In 2013 he completed a residency in Endodontics at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, and joined the faculty at Rutgers School of Dental Medicine as an Associate Professor of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology in the Department of Diagnostic Sciences, and an Associate Professor of Endodontics in the Department of Endodontics. He also had a faculty appointment in the Rutgers Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences. He has given many lectures and presentations on oral mucosal pathology and jaw lesions both nationally and internationally. He has authored over 30 articles published in both medical and dental prestigious journals. Dr. Rinaggio also practices pathology at Saint Barnabas Medical Center, Livingston, New Jersey.
Jonathan Mendia, , D.D.S., M.S.
Dr. Jonathan Mendia, owner of Advanced Dental Anesthesia Services earned his Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the University of Pittsburgh School Of Medicine. Upon completion, Dr. Mendia completed a post-doctoral residency in Dental Anesthesiology at the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine, one of only six highly specialized Dental Anesthesiology programs. Dr. Mendia’s specialized training includes all levels of anesthesia services.
In addition to serving as Assistant Clinical Professor of Dental Anesthesia at Rutgers University School of Dental Medicine, Dr Mendia provides continuing education courses on IV Sedation and medical emergencies. He holds certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
Dr Mendia safely sedates pediatric, special needs, and geriatric patients, as well as anxious or dental phobic adults, providing a comfortable environment for both the patient and Dentist. Dr. Mendia aims to minimize patients’ dental fears and ensure that all of his patients feel more comfortable during their dental care.
